Design Idea
In order to protect user privacy and provide the equal right for the user to choose whether they want to participate in my project with open the webcam or not, I decided to add the instruction and policy feature before access to their camera. Here is the structure flow before implementing the code:
Design Process
Based on the clowchart design, user able to make certain decision in order to make their own selections to whether protect their privacy or to accept the policy. There are overall 4 pages include in this project. They are:
In each page, user able to choose their own playing path by clicking buttons shown on the page.
Refelction
In response to F.R.I.E.S. model, my project implemented these concepts:
Users are able to follow with their own desires to access the program by click different buttons.
Users are able to return to the front page to make another selection again.
The policy instruction pages notice the user the program will be used their personal information and also listed the information about how their personal information will be used.
I tried to make the page looks attractive in order to let the user feel “excited” when accessing this program.
Refers to “Saying yes to one thing doesn’t mean they’ve said yes to others”. Besides the welcome page, each page provides user options to terminate the program.
